hello. :]

just wanted to offer everyone a writing update.

i've written a new chapter of paper hearts, but have yet to post it up here. hopefully that'll happen soon. i've been having some internet problems. btw, thinking of changing the name to "origami hearts". sort of the same, but i want it to be. what do you guys think?

i'm currently doing another re-write of she's my ride home. it's like, my 4th or 5th now. believe me, if this ever gets published, it'll be completely different than what you guys read on deviantART. but i definitely think it's improved for the better. i've smoothed out the writing and am currently adding a ton of subplots as requested by a publisher. hopefully when i finish this, the publisher will want it. we'll find out. :\

i've been taking chapters of paper hearts and pirouette to my critique group. they like pirouette more than paper hearts-- which is kind of surprising, to me, but whatever works. :] i like both of them. i need to get past that block on pirouette so i can keep writing it, but right now i'm just concentrated on SMRH and getting that out of the way.

i did some def jam slam with enfer vogue in love your body day at ODU and had a blast. everyone loved it.. i got some great feedback, especially from my professors/colleagues. one of my professors wants to help me get it published, which i think is awesome because i don't know much about the poetry front. we'll find out :] i definitely want to do it again because it was exhilarating.

anyways, hopefully we'll have a new chapter up here soon! or maybe a book published soon? ugh.
